The "right" 15 words can reframe a major issue. And I found 'em, for me, relative to one of my "Top 10" strategic business concerns. New (and damn good) book from AARP boss Bill Novelli, 50+: Igniting a Revolution to Reinvent America. Stop the clucking, already. Of course it's institutionally self-serving. But that doesn't keep it from being damn good. And here is the turn of phrase I love: "People turning 50 today have more than half of their adult life ahead of them." That's it! Listening you teen-obsessed weenies [oops, marketing "geniuses"]? Trillions upon trillions of bucks. Lots and lots of time. And energy. And: Eager to spend. Repeat: MORE THAN HALF!
