Most companies that thrive actually work in choas. They have this rare breed of staff who are constantly running around and putting out those fires. These comapnies are actully disorgnized !! Note, I say "disorganized" not undesciplined !!
Thier leaders actually have the wisdom to know that they dont know. They create this pool of mavericks and send them on these wierd quests. These percualir pioneers will go forth into unchartered waters, but they alone vault the company to its next perfromace platform !!
Organizations need to perform their daily tasks, yet ALL (All. Big Word), depends on counterintutive leaps into the unknown.
Those companies which cherish the mess and value the choas are those which perform in hard times , excellently !!
